Can the security of your home be entrusted to an autonomous robot?

The second level of need on Maslow's hierarchy of needs is that of security. No wonder humans have tried to make their homes more secure. The methods humans use to achieve this goal range from the lock, the home security system, and the more futuristic approach: the security robot.[1]

Through our team's research and discussions we discovered that many advances have been made in the field of home security, especially with autonomous robots. However, there is still room for improved ideas and designs.

Our research and design website will explore the current state, the advancements that we feel could be addressed, and the team's thoughts on possible ideas and designs for advancement and marketability of autonomous home security robots.
