In the future will the security robot become an integral part of the family? Something that you can trust to keep you protected and to keep your home safe from harm?

This may seem far from being realistic, but it is the cutting edge of technology. Though the present cost may keep the average family from owning a security robot anytime soon, it is an item that those who can pay the price will seek to own.

Many great designs are currently being tested and marketed; however, our team thought the following items would be required advancements to widen the market of people who might want this type of technology:

Engineer and program security robots to respond more quickly to an emergency. Asimo, though not a security robot, travels at a rate of 1.9 miles per hour.[6]

Further program security robots to make informed decisions to take care of intrusions and emergencies on their own.

Find the most cost effective way to mass produce quality security robots that are affordable for the average family to buy.
