Important Dates :

We meet every Friday at Lunch in Mr. Park's room 2.
Jan 28, 29 - Teacher training session. Game rules are revealed and kit is received.
Monday 31 - After school we will play the movie rules, talk strategy, drool over the kit.
Tuesday/Thursdays after school meeting until the competition 2:30 - 4:00
Saturday Meetings 2/5, 2,12, (skip Pres. Day Weekend), 2/26, 3/5, 3/12 hours TBA

What is Botball? :

Presented in your region by KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, the Botball Educational Robotics Program integrates science, technology, engineering and math with robotics to keep your students on the forefront of technology. Any middle or high school aged student can participate in Botball as long as the team has an adult contact. The organization of the team is up to the team leader.

By expanding on general classroom curriculum, the program gives students hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming a team of robots, while developing leadership, teamwork and project management skills that will prepare students for the future workforce.

Botball teaches computer programming in the C language. Students can be on the cutting edge as they program in one of the most popular computer languages used in science and business. C programmers are in high demand and these skills help make students highly employable once they enter "the real world". Students who share in the Botball experience not only learn skills making them more employable in the future, but they also have fun while working as a team to achieve their goals. All that is needed to set students on the path to success is a laptop computer, internet access, and the desire to see students excel!
