Sight is one of the most important senses available to mankind. Using the gift of sight we can drive a car, admire the beauty of countryside, or read a book. Vision is a dear privilege to all of us, and some of us don’t realize how fortunate we are to be able to see; there are some people who have imperfect vision or a disorder that impairs their vision. Several of these symptoms are curable with a magnification process such as contact lenses, glasses, or corrective surgery. But some of them are not so easily corrected through a lens; some eye disorders are more than just an imperfection in the eyeball. Some are behind the actual eyeball and some are simply abnormalities of the brain.

The Gift of Sight.

“The few wonders of the world only exist while there are those with the sight to see them.”

-Charles de Lint(14)
