James Lee Community Center Botball

James Lee Community Center is recruiting members for Botball 2008, a popular competition between many different community centers such as Willston and Baileys. We are expecting a team of 6 members, however space is filling up quickly. In the first week of recruitment, three spaces were consumed for James Lee. The community center needs 3 more members between the age of 8 to 18 to join, and we are searching for people who have a genuine interest in science, technology and robots!

Why should I be on the James Lee team?

The James Lee team has an experienced instructor who works well with kids and motivated team members. The center provides many technological tools and has the materials needed for success. The current members have been preparing since the summer for this competition and are willing to help any new members that decide to join. We welcome any one and everyone on our team!

What is it like preparing for Botball?

Every member of the team is expected to attend the meetings, and durring the meetings we help build the robot and program it to move in certain positions at certain times, based on the competition rules.
