In the 1960s and 1970s twelve people successfully landed on the Moon. But for many years after that no one has been on the moon. But in September of 2007, the "X PRIZE Foundation announced a contest with prizes in the tens of millions of dollars for the first private origination to land a rover on the moon." The rover has to complete several complicated tasks and travel long distances from the place where they land.

Our goal is to build a rover and send it to the moon to complete the requirements that the X PRIZE Foundation set. One of them was to send our rover 500 meters out from our landing base. The other goal is to find an artifact that was left behind by humans. This will end that long time when no one has been on the moon.
