team.
It is also the first year for our school to
participate in Botball.

Our team is composed of seven seventh graders, one tenth grade mentor, one mentor from UAFS, and one coach.
Patricia Moore, Mallory Reeves, Nancy Sanders, Justin Corbitt, Hanna Duncan,
Tyler McCollum, and Jordan Burnett are our team members. Alyson Miles, tenth
grade, and Emmett Reedy, sophomore at UAFS, are our mentors. Mrs. Jamie Wollman
is our team coach.
Our team
for Botball this year is an all seventh grade team
because we received a National Science Foundation grant.
We also
participated in B.E.S.T. (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology)
robotics competition and the F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiration and Recognition of
Science and Technology) LEGO league.
We won
third place for best over all at the BEST competition. At FIRST, we won the
teamwork award and the best coach of the year award for our favorite coach Mrs.
Jamie Wollman.
