Meet our team members. But be warned...the bios are not written by the person in the picture.
Brett Diggins is one of our programmers for our team. He's rather quiet but has a great sense of humor when you start talking with him. He's very kind and considerate but will not hesitate to speak up when he sees something wrong. He's going to the Milwaukie School of Engineering next year (Go Brett!) to study architectural engineering. I think he'll do very well because he has a great work ethic and isn't afraid to propose a new and/or unusual idea. Besides all that he is an active member of his church and has earned his Eagle Award. He's in Calc III and Statistics as well as English, Economics, and Research and Experimentation, Physics. All in all, Brett is a pretty cool guy and a great asset to our team.
Ami Trivedi is a small foreign girl born and raised in the great city of Perry Hall, Maryland. As a sixth grade student I (Sean Rohde) met Ami in our pre algebra class. The young Trivedi was intent on getting straight A’s in every class. Her father is very strict about grades in her household and she has an extremely smart sister who she looks up to for all of her inspiration. Every test that we were given in Mr. Janiskowski’s class she worried about immensely. On the day we would get the test back she would see her grade and say that it wasn’t good enough for her dad. If you got to know Ami at all you would know she is a very kind person and would do anything to be nice to you. But, Ami does have an angry side that will come out if you say something that is mean. She can also be very sarcastic at times. In the fall of 2006 she will be attending the University of Maryland at College Park. She is excited about attending this school because she will be able to go to their extravagant workout center so that she stays skinny. She is worried that she will go to college and get fat, but this would be almost impossible if you look at her picture. Overall she is a kind girl who has done a lot in her life to be successful and I am confident that she will do well at the University of Maryland.
Camille Tongco is a well-rounded individual who exhibits ability in a wide range of areas. Not only does she excel academically, she fulfills her duty to the community through her commitment to service in the National Honor Society. She satisfies her love of music with her collection of albums and by playing the guitar. Her family heritage traces back to the Philippines, bringing a strong presence of South Pacific culture to her family’s cooking; Camille loves feasting and will eat as much Filipino food as she can get. She also demonstrates a keen sense of humor, manifested by her recurring sarcasm; she quickly recognizes life’s day-to-day irony and tirelessly supplies the group with comic relief.
Sean Wolf: (a.k.a. long haired hippy kid) is a brilliant genius. His dedication and hard work on the team website and botball competition has been unmatched. His creativity flows into every project. Outside of school he’s a caring brother to his younger sibling and the life of the party. He’s also a superb athlete (esp. in Horse Basketball) but he gave it up his senior year to focus on his studies; a diligent student always at task and ready to work. He’s honest and caring just like a big giant teddy bear; he’s always there for the team in his best flip flop and stylin’ hat.
Sean Rohde: (a.k.a. Polar Bear) is a wonderful young man that works at Mars Supermarket. If he is not there he is playing Halo or basketball with the guys. Next year he will be attending University of Maryland. He will bring great qualities including a good attitude, humor, and volleyball skills. He will also be bringing a lovely “wife” who he loves dearly. Sean has great acting skills as well as singing skills in which we all hopes he pursues down the line. Sean is physically attractive. He is tall with a concave chest. He has beautiful brown eyes and above the left one is a fresh scar which he obtained when he fell. He is a handsome young lad who we all love deeply.
Lauren Clark: is a very well rounded, intelligent, and outspoken young lady. She enjoys reading and learning and has an innate interest in engineering which she will be studying at Princeton University next year. She sings, dances and acts; accomplishing all three inside and outside of school. She also participates in fencing where she has accumulated numerous awards. Lauren’s interest span across numerous subjects as does her breadth of knowledge. She participates in Girls Scouts where she has earned a Gold Award. Lauren likes to play solitaire, and pocket tanks in her spare time during class.
