Marie has been on the NDP robotics team since the beginning, though all she did last year was make the website pretty. (Please note that Cori does a much fancier, and prettier, job.) She loves reading, video games, horse-back riding, and of course long walks on the beach robotics. Marie also enjoys mumbling, and obsessing over cultish fandoms. Examples include: the Red vs. Blue machinima series, Discworld and Mercedes Lackey books, the band They Might Be Giants, the musical Rent, and the late, great, unfairly cut sci-fi/western television series Firefly, created by none other than Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy. The series, now movie (Serenity) has beautiful people using realistic technology in situations that involve violence, gratuitous images, and many funny lines! Marie desperately urges everyone to go and watch. When not obsessing, Marie tries not to procrastinate, usually failing utterly. Marie, as always, aims to misbehave.
