Here are some of our team members' favorite websites (and some reasons why we like them)!
- Blake Ross' Blog- We all think that Mozilla Firefox is the best thing since sliced bread (or the creation of the internet...), hands down. On this site you'll find the blog of Blake Ross, the creator of Firefox.
- Botball- Face it, we had to include the Botball homepage!
- Electronic Frontier Foundation-EFF was founded to educate internet users and help to defend their digital rights.
- Google- The greatest search engine - and more! Google just keeps expanding and improving to meet the needs of internet users everywhere. Honestly? ...it makes us feel really powerful to be able to have Google at hand.
- HowStuffWorks.com- Ever wonder how robotic vacuums work? Not entirely sure how routing algorithms work? This site helps you discover all sorts of new things!
- Make: Magazine- This website contains articles from Make: Magazine, which states that it is "devoted entirely to DIY projects". Well worth checking this out and trying some of the projects!
- Moodle-This is an online course management system used by teachers and students nationwide. Our team found it extraordinarily simple to use and it served its purpose as a link between our team members while outside of school.
- Mozila Firefox- As we've mentioned before, Firefox is amazing. From this link, you can download the browser and its many extensions. Enjoy!
- NASA- As an ode to our friends at NASA, we've included their website to share with everyone! Browse the site to learn anything you could ever want to know about today's space exploration technology and more!
- NDP Robotics Team's Research and Design Website-Our team participated in one of Botball's other competitions, the Research and Design Website Challenge. Visit this link to see what our team did to come in first place in the High School Divison!
- Slashdot- The best way to describe this site comes from Slashdot's motto itself: "News for Nerds. Stuff that matters."
- ThinkGeek- This online store is great for technology lovers everywhere! Whether you're looking for a LED Binary Clock or a l33t tshirt, this is the site to go to!
- Wikipedia- The free online encyclopedia of the century. Search for information on almost any topic under the sun or help to contribute information for other users!
