i. Anna is by no doubt a geek girl.
ii. Her laptop is her best friend, though her soldering iron named Fenwick sure comes close.
iii. Anna likes to read. A lot. She will pretty much read anything she can get her hands on. Her favorite books are Catcher in the Rye, 1984, and The Crucible. She is an avid reader of Make Magazine and Scientific American. On the web, Anna likes to frequent Slashdot, Hackaday, and Blake Ross's blog. Anna also likes online forums.
iv. Anna likes bike rides and runs and pleasant sunny weather.
v. Anna raises bees. Currently, she has seven beehives in her backyard. They do not sting her, as long as she does not spray water on them with full force while they are attempting to swarm. That just gets Anna in trouble, and Anna ends up getting stung on the scalp multiple times (because Anna does not have her own bee suit).
vi. In the summer of 2005, Anna visited California – the Silicon Valley to be exact, for NYLF/Tech. Anna was amazed, and since that experience, Anna tends to rant on and on about California and its wonders. Someday Anna hopes to return to San Francisco, if but for a few years of her life.
vii. In her spare time (wait…spare time?) Anna enjoys music. She plays the piano, and has been a member of her church choir since she was about 47 inches tall.
viii. Anna is also 100% Polish, therefore inherently crazy.
