I’m a sophomore and have been in the NDP Robotics club since last year (the beginning). Regretfully, this year being as hectic as it is, I don’t really have the time to work on the robots as much as I did last year. But I like to think that I help when I talk to my teammates on Moodle and think of ideas and pass them on. Other than Robotics, I love being onstage. Right now I’m in a production of the Diary of Anne Frank at Notre Dame’s brother school: Loyola Blakefield. I play the part of Margot, Anne’s older sister. I also ride horses and have since I was really little. I have four of my own, including a foal that I rescued from slaughter and am currently raising.
One fun fact: my nickname is Kimmy. It was thought up by one of my friends at dinner one night. He and a few others decided that I remind them of Kimmy Gibbler on the once-popular sitcom, Full House. The nickname stuck. Sometimes I will even get introduced to people as Kimmy, which can cause some confusion.
