Construction Team

Group leader, Jonathan Gilbreth along with construction leader German Regin contemplate on how to finish the competition board frame.  They eventually finish the board, and start constructing the robot.

Sophomore Norma Castellanos and Freshman John Cauley add the finishing touches on the competition board. They had to cut the PVC pipes, and attach the pipes together to begin anything else.

The construction team worked together to build the competition frame.  Soon they will be adding the tile to complete the board to test out the robot.

Construction team, Jonathan Gilbreth, Victor Bustamante and Luther Souk work on separate parts of the robot.  When they finish their assigned portion, they will put the robot together and test it out.

Leaders Jonathan Gilbreth and German Regin work to become familiar with the pipes and hydraulics.  When they become experienced with the materials, they will build an amazing robot.

Mentor Arthur Torres guides the construction team as they continue their building.  He helps the students with their questions and concerns.  He addresses them clearly so that there are no misunderstandings.

Mentors Jeremie Santos and Ms. McHugh converse with the group on what they needed to accomplish in the amount of time given.  After their words of advice, the group went straight to work.

Programming Team

Mentors Jeremie Santos and Ms. McHugh advise the programming students on how to get started.  Mr. Santos is an experienced programmer, and was more than happy to assist the team.

Senior and Mentor Jury Byrd gives his advice and experienced knowledge on building robots to the construction and programming team.  German Regin listens closely on Jury's advice, then he experiments with the pieces given to him.

Mentoring the students, Mr. Santos shows Edder Robles, German Regin, and Oscar Lopez how to utilize the programming apparatuses.  The boys attentively listen, so they would be able to perform the task themselves.

Web Team

IDEA's principal, Mr. Spiegel, discusses with Victor Bustamante and Katherine Humphus how to approach the game strategy.  After listening to words of wisdom, the students eagerly work to accomplish the day's goal.

Web Design team members Anna Tran and Katherine Humphus work on the story board while listening to other ideas.  They gather everyone's opinions, and combine it to create a good strategy.

Blogger Victor Bustamante waits patiently as the computer loads to blog what the team has accomplish that day.  The web team tries to blog daily to keep up with out documentation.
