We had our team focus meeting where we had a discussion about
our assignments, orders, team planning. Following that was a review of packets.
The Construction team began marking and cutting PVC pipes to start the
competition board.
February 8th 2005, 11:42 a.m.
The team began building the competition board. We entered in
our blogs, place new student, Luther in group.
February 9th 2005 11:36 a.m.
We finished constructing the obstacle course. We continued
constructing the competition board, and the programmers held a meeting.
-Story board/comic strip what robot has to do. What we have access to
-Arms
-Censors
-Light sensor (go and stop)
Look through parts
Discussed the task, both mandatory, and desired for the robot.
February 10th 2005
-The Entire team had a 5 minute meeting, and discussed the
task that were to be done, and started working right away.
-The Construction team continued building, and trying to
figure the problem of the board, and eventually found the problem, and finished
constructing the layout of the board.
-The Programming team held a meeting, and discussed the story
board, and time frame. Conjured up strategies, and communicated with one another
on what should be included on the robot.
-The Web team wrote all the tasks that were accomplished, and
blogged as much information as possible.
-The Communication team worked with the construction team,
together to finish the layout of the competition panel.
February 11th 2005
No school, no planning, no meeting. Individual research.
Task: Contemplate more strategies that the robot would do with the "junk" on our side, and what our competitors would do, and how we would work with that, keep in mind the time frame, and how that affects our robot, and the sensors that we would be able to use.
