OUR EXAMPLE
This
robot is a trash robot. This means that this robot is a moving trashcan. It
moves around the house and goes to the other trashcans and empties them into
itself. Then it goes to a bigger trashcan and empties what is inside of itself.
This robot uses sonar to find where garbage is because sonar can track a mineral
that has not been found out yet. A tiny piece of the mineral is put on every
trashcan in the house so that this robot can find the trashcans aside from everything
else.
When the robot finds out where a trashcan is it uses an arm that is almost exactly like the arm of a trash truck, except smaller. Also it uses a sliding arm to grip the trashcans and then lift them up just like a trash truck.
Since most people have stairs in their house this robot has to deal with this problem. To go down stairs it first has to put a lid on its head so no trash comes flying out. Also the wheels on the robot are retractable so it makes going up and down better.
