Hello and welcome to the Our Redeemer Lutheran School and Halau Ku Mana's official botball site. This is a site that we have created in order to inform you about our experince in the botball program. The botball program is a program that created by NASA and the Kiss instatute. The reason that this program was created in order to engage childeren in the vast world of robotics and programing. To give a hands on experince on what it takes to create and design a robot. To also help them in learing to work as a team to complete a diffacult task. It also shows childern the importance of robotics and science in our lives today. The botball compitition is where a group of students works to together to create a robot. the team must create the robot using the pieces provide, which are lots a lego pieces, a handyboard, and alternate device that is like a handyboard. The team has eight weeks to design, build, and program the robot. At the compitition, the robot will have to do a certain task while racing another robot that is also doing the same task. Each year the task is different. This year, the task is put orange balls in the black tude like objects, stack the yellow cups, and to push the blue cups on the oppent's side.
